The number of employees within the vehicle industry earlier this year is a smaller amount than a year ago. With 103.3 thousand people, the entire is 3.5% lower in reference to the effective staff of a year ago.


But compared to December, there have been 2.2 thousand vacancies within the sector. The president of the National Association of motor vehicle Manufacturers (Anfavea), Luiz Carlos Moraes, said that new jobs were created in truck factories to satisfy the increased demand.


Even so, all the new vacancies ask temporary contracts lasting six to 12 months, on the average. "Depending on the framework, these contracts may or might not be renewed," he said.
