Bradesco expects new Congressional leaders to unlock reform agenda
Bank president Octavio Lazari says 'there is not any reason why reforms won't go ahead'
"We wear the radar that new leaders [in Congress] are getting to unlock the reform agenda, especially administrative, tax and privatizations," said Bradesco's executive president, Octavio de Lazari, during a call with journalists this Thursday morning. For Lazari, the reforms “will go” and there's no reason why this may not happen.
"We are all aware that reforms are necessary," he said. "There are going to be years of excellent omens on reforms," he added.
On the opposite hand, he believes that it's important to advance within the vaccination of the population. "The speed of vaccination isn't what we might like, but it's started," said Lazari.
Asked about the vaccination process of the bank's employees, Lazari praised the institution's performance in reference to its staff in combating covid-19 and stated that it's “free will” for every one to make a decision whether to vaccinate or not, but that there'll be internal incentives for this. Still, the bank won't force its employees to urge the vaccine.
